James started to build his fire-dragon almost 2 years ago, 2016, which is connected with local stones-positioned like a dragon. A wall sections off the dragon area it runs across our terrace..A decorated local flower pot is the head of the Dragon, which will eventuellu hold a Japanes Red Plant., on our terrace. We learnt about this idea from our the Mediterranean Garden Society, where people were starting to put a garden on the top of their roof. The summer is getting hotter, and our need for water for the plants is becoming more demanding and more expensive. James has developed a small watering system for the vines and kiwis, with a timer, which is just brilliant. More photos to come on all this.
James’ tail vase for his fire dragon area, which will contain a fire red Japanese plant. We decided to section off a part of the large terrace, to create a garden feature. Which would capture the rain and we could cultivate it into a roof garden on the terrace. More greenery. We also have 2 containers which capture the rain water from the gutter, which surrounds the terrace.
